Sunsets are like…

Sunsets are like unique people, who we can meet only once in the life time. Even if you would spend every evening of your life watching the sun hiding after the horizon, you would not be able to see two of them looking exactly the same. Because magic of the moment affects us in a very different way, speak to our imagination, show us illusion created by light but also by our emotions.

Sunsets are like scenery made by the great artist, to give us a moment of contemplation and chance to think about immaterial things influencing on us and our surroundings.

Sunsets are like memories of the first sweet kiss…

Brand new

Brand new – me!

Summer time can give you lots of topics to write about, or non. Well, I got unfortunately – non, and I’m going to treat it as a challenge!

As you can see (if you have visited my blog before) I made a few changes, both visual and content. Some categories were removed, some changed place, and also you can find few new one. Hope it will make my website more user friendly.

I’m going to keep up with Motivation Monday, in a brand new form of rules to reach your own happiness (First two posts can be found HERE and HERE), I will not give up on travel topics (including cooking from places all around the world) and self-publisher tips, but I’m gonna add my own reviews of books, tv series and movies. Nope, it does not mean it will be connected with fresh – new coming titles (ok, maybe a little), but also with the things which came into my hands in the last days – old one too.

There will be more content from my point of view, less boring facts, which can be found in every book.

So I hope you will enjoy new, refreshed idea of Monika’s Journey. Com!

Frankly speaking, she was still trying to decide whether she’d done the right thing coming back after so many years of absence.

It was too late for doubts, though. She wouldn’t get cold feet at the last minute, after all. On the other hand, the perspective of getting on the first plane and going back was very tempting.

She took a deep breath and started to walk. The glass door opened before her, as if touched by a magic wand. Waves of heat and humid air hit her. Still walking, she closed her eyes and inhaled with pleasure the long forgotten smell of Turkey.

The memories of hot days and sultry nights, crazy romances and unrequited love, happy moments spent with friends and nights she cried. Here she lived life to the full and felt all the feelings available to humans. Now all those feelings again became as real as if she had felt them the day before, and not five years ago.
